It all began in 1986, when Didier, Sylvaine and Pierrick Huriaux founded the family dairy farm at Les Gaboriaux in Saint Rieul. In the 2000s, the farm grew with the arrival of Jean-Jacques Mahé, their nephew, and his wife Anne-Marie.
The farm has always been committed to the well-being of its animals and the preservation of the environment. The cows’ feed is produced on site and includes flax, to meet Bleu-Blanc-Cœur specifications. The farm is equipped with 3 solar panels and a methanizer.
Today, and for the past 13 years, the family has been transforming its fresh milk into dairy products on the farm, in an approved laboratory, with a view to offering farm yoghurts and fromage frais, direct from producer to consumer, under the SAINT RIEULAIT brand.
